Senior Software Developer/Architect (m/f/d)

The TouchGFX team is a part of STMicroelectronics’ Microcontroller division headquartered in Rousset in Southern France. We are responsible for delivering the STM32 graphical software offer, TouchGFX, to major global players as well as mass market within appliances, wearables and industrial sectors. As Senior Software Developer/Architect you will be a part of this team and a key part of its future success. The graphical team is present in Aarhus, Grenoble and Tunis. The team has a long history and highly valued experience in embedded graphics. The team’s work includes all parts from graphical hardware IP’s in STM32 microcontrollers, TouchGFX framework and PC-tool development, building and maintaining extensive ecosystem as well as on-site support of key-customers.
Main Objectives & Tasks:
• Use your system and programming skills in adding new features to the TouchGFX Designer product
• Have the main responsibility of the architecture, stability and performance of the TouchGFX Designer
• Help the product owner to envision new solutions by prototyping innovative concepts
• Generating and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation
• Communicate frequently and clearly with the scrum team regarding project status, challenges, and milestones
• Represent the development team at relevant meetings

• Extensive experience (+5 years) working with and developing C# applications
• Experience with front end systems, both development and architectural aspects
• Excellent English skills, both orally and in writing
• Desired competencies are:
– Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field
– WPF experience
– Essential interest and experience with the usability of graphic applications
– Familiarity with agile software delivery methodologies such as Scrum
